Jessy Thomas is a board certified family nurse practitioner that will be providing routine foot care including, nail and callus care as well as diabetic exams and providing education to the patient population. She will be bringing her background knowledge of family medicine as well as occupational medicine to the group.
Jessy received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Austin in 2001 and her Master’s of Science in Nursing and Public Health with concentrations in Family Practice and Occupational Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston in 2005. She worked as a family nurse practitioner at the Mount Sinai World Trade Center Medical Treatment Program in New York City. The program was established in order to provide medical treatment and follow up for first responders of the 9/11 disaster, as well as obtain research to follow health trends among this population.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association, the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses, and credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.
