Foot and Ankle Surgery
Dr. Vajaria joined the Podiatry, Foot and Ankle Surgery department of DuPage Medical Group in 2010 bringing exceptional surgical training and skills from his postdoctoral training. As the newest member of the department, Dr. Vajaria’s clinical expertise ranges from simple and complex fractures of the foot and ankle, diabetic reconstruction, pediatrics, joint replacement, sports injuries and wound care. Dr. Vajaria sees patients of all ages.
Dr. Vajaria graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign with a Bachelors of Science in 2003. After receiving his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 2007, he went on to complete a three year surgical residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark where he served as Administrative Chief Resident from 2009-2010.
Among many awards and honors, Dr. Vajaria has published his research on tendon repairs in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association. In addition, he continues to attend lectures and workshops and has presented lectures on Surgical Laser Management of Common Foot Disorders, Surgical Reconstruction of the Foot and Ankle after Complications, Ankle Fracture Management in Diabetic Patients and Pediatric Flatfoot.
Dr. Vajaria is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In addition to his office in Plainfield and Naperville, Dr. Vajaria also sees patients at the DuPage Medical Group Wound Clinic in Lombard. He is affiliated with Good Samaritan Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital, Central DuPage Hospital, Edward Hospital, Naperville Surgical Center, and Surgical Center of DuPage Medical Group.
In his free time Dr. Vajaria enjoys skiing, traveling, playing golf and spending time with family.
